Club Championship 2021

The last weekend of August saw the second hosting of the Club Championships at the PGA National Czech Republic. Whilst the weather forecast was not ideal ahead of play, the 43 players that played the two day event enjoyed perfect conditions throughout the weekend.

After the first day’s play Adela Cejnarova was leading the Ladies Division by 14 strokes with a gross 77 (+5), a more comfortable margin than Mens Division leader Petr Dedek – the defending Champion – who led the men’s category by only 2 strokes with a gross 74 (+2). Adela continued her strong play into Day 2, and took the title for the first time, whilst the Mens Championship cam edown to the last 2 holes, with Petr Dedek eventually winning the title once again. Both Champions took home beautiful glass trophies provided by Rückl.
